Underwater Castle Refined
These are the final renders of my Underwater Castle: The original Castle compared to the refined Castle: In this refinement, I experimented with more colours, materials, and added a landscape around the castle. I added seaweed made out of plastic to give it more shine. I also added hills of sand surrounding the castle to imitate the sea floor (Stoneware material was used for this). For the ground plane, I used water for reflectivity. The pathway I added is made out of crackle material. I tried using something else like terrazzo light gray polished, but I found that the texture was too small and overpowering. Lighting wise, I decided to use two spotlights to highlight the fish, and a linear light down the middle of the tallest tower. I did have some trouble adjusting the light intensity. It seemed like every time I turned it down, it wouldn't make any difference. However, my object properties tab did disappear... so that probably didn't help my case...
